About Archangels Fastpitch Softball
George Keener, originally from Alabama, proudly served 21 years on active duty in the United States Coast Guard before retiring in 2017. He began coaching youth sports in 2000, combining his passion for athletics with a commitment to mentoring and developing young athletes. His dedication to coaching and community service earned him the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
George believes coaching is about much more than winning games—it is about building confidence, teaching discipline, encouraging teamwork, and helping every athlete reach their full potential. He always puts his players first and is proud to be their biggest fan, both on and off the field.
